Often feel like I'm caught in a tug of war between many different worlds.  Feel most at peace when seeking the way/truth - but does one have to seek to find it?

I'm on the board of the directors of the Temple of Understanding, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit and a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) in Consultative Status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council.  The mission of the Temple of Understanding (TOU) is to achieve peaceful coexistence among individuals, communities, and societies through interfaith education. Our programs emphasize experiential knowledge and dialogue as a means of connecting people of all ages across a spectrum of religious traditions.

My current project with TOU is called the Interfaith Experience which is a series of monthly talks at the Rubin Museum of Art in NYC.  Our past speakers have included visionary artist Alex Grey, the Venerable Nicholas Vreeland, Ezgi Sorman, Dr. Kurt Johnson and Loch Kelly.  For more info, please check out our blogspot page, theinterfaithexperience.blogspot.com.
